Now isn't this machine a beauty?
I took the plunge and ordered my very own Hot Rollers Set, the Babyliss Pro Professional 30 Roller Set With Ceramic And Ionic Technology.
I have always wanted to add body to my flat, poker straight hair, and a flat iron/curling iron was too much for my uncoordinated arms.

The morning it arrived, I excitedly tried it, and have been looking like a mad 'rent-collecting mahjong-playing auntie' for the most part.

I have set about ordering some cute hair accessories and products to complement my new curly do, can't wait to share them with you. :)

Man, I wish I had stick straight hair! Can't wait to see the results of your new purchase :)
ReplyDeleteHa! I remember the hot rollers. My hair holds crazy heat, so I always complained when I was younger. Now with my really short pixie cut, I don't have to worry about any curlers....that is until I decide to let it grow.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it! Still a bit afraid to put these in my own hair though! :P
ReplyDeletei love hot rollers :)!!! I own a set too :) It's so much easier and less time consuming than curling rods :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you can do with your hair with these curlers! I would get one but I can't find the time to do my hair, lol.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a good weekend despite the miserable weather! :)

Wow, I Love your Blog!
ReplyDeleteTo your comment: Yes, thats are Earrings of this Shop: http://www.crazy-factory.com/ i love them!
I have a hot roller and straightening iron in one tool, and it's very useful when it comes to occasions and parties. I don't have to go to the hairdresser and whatnot, just simply do everything at home. :)
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I always liked having old fashioned rollers like the picture you posted, hehe. I always felt like they have more effect than modern hot rollers.

ohhhmygod I love that picture!!!! brilliant. Please do a picture like that yes? x
ReplyDeleteThis is such an awesome invention! Too bad my hair is to smooth (or how do you say it in English) so my curls only hold for about an hour or two... I have to spray and use so many products in it that it gets all greasy. Enough about myself, i like your blog! ^^ x
ReplyDeleteI use heat rollers when I want to curl my hair ^^

Hi Addie :) :)
ReplyDeletemy weekend was so hectic but fulfilling at the same time, thank you for asking <3 I was working non-stop but I also was happy too because I lost a little bit of weight after working out all week :) haha You're definitely not a old hag for using hot rollers, if so than I must be old too and I'm only 21! lol
<3
hahaha, kung fu hustle! How are the curlers? I can't wait to get my hair longer so I can justify buying heated rollers!
