Outfit Twenty One

These photos were taken on the day my parents left Sydney for Singapore, about a month ago. I am such a back-dated blogger-hippo I know... 

My Lanvins have been taunting me from their perch since I bought them so I thought I would take them out for a spin today to brighten my blue outfit.

I chose to wear blue because I felt blue, at the thought of my parents' holiday here coming to an end. And yes, I did break into the sniffles at the airport when my parents entered the departure area. 

I loved it when they were here though it was a bit of a squeeze in our little two room townhouse. They are quite the funny duo, and they have always supported me in everything I wanted to do.

While they were here, my mommy sparked my interest in cooking - not an easy task considering I have not cooked since I was born unless you count instant noodles. 

Well, I am proud to say I am a pretty good home cook now. I make different dishes for Bunny to look forward to at dinner everyday, and I can bake sweet treats, boil nutritious soups and even deep fry sinful tidbits like rosti, spring rolls and samosas. 

I am off to the city today to look for more ingredients, I am in the mood for some home-cooked Ayam Penyat, an Indonesian Fried Chicken dish that's so yummy! 

When my parents come visit again, hopefully in a few months, I would be cooking up a storm for them.

Love and miss you lots, Daddy and Mommy. ♥♥

    hi Addie, aww.....such a blue day indeed. i bet it was fun when you're parents were there. i should know, my parent's were with me for a long time till we moved here in U.S. I'm looking forward to see you blog about your recipes :)especially you're ayam penyat...hmnnnnn...i bet its good! for the past 2 weeks i've been cooking some indonesian, cambodian and vietnamese food. i just need to take a break from cooking our own food. :)take care sweety.....oh by the way i love your cardigan and your bag!!

    Awww...I always feel sad when I have to say goodbye to my parents. I guess it's just that moment when it really hits that they or I'm boarding the plane again and we will be separated by thousands of miles. Skype, emails and Facebook makes it much better, though :)

    there's so many colours & so many things i heart in this post!i like the fact that there's a huge array of colours, especially since days lately have been really gloomy. it's now overcast yet AGAIN. that blue is really an eye-catcher i must say! looks really comfy too. must have cost a bomb~~ know what? i looked @ my shoe rack just n realized there's no blue coloured shoes. i think blue is quite the rare colour to spot on the feet but u certainly pulled it off very well, contrasting the deep navy blue with the bright blue:)

    gdluck on ur ingredients hunt & hope u'll find all that u need. when i visit sydney in the future, must invite me to dinner k? will be looking forward to it^_^
