Shopping Three






So the day that I was a cross between a Polar Bear and a Koala Bear, Bunny and me went shopping in the city. 

Some stores were just beginning their sales previews and I made a beeline for the Salvatore Ferragamo outlets in search of their Bow Head Bands that are pretty much sold out everywhere! I'd know because my friends have been searching in Singapore, in France, in Italy, in America etc (you kinda get the idea) for me...

I mean are there really that many grown-ups who like to relive their childhood and dress like they were 6 years old? Ahem, I thought I was the only wee one. (0.0)v

Well, unfortunately I didn't see much that was worth buying but Bunny bought really cute Rabbit Cuff Links and an awesome Wayne Cooper Coat. I apologise for the really uergh photo of the coat under store lighting, but it looks fabulous in person!

I went outside my food comfort zone that day, and ate laksa at Malay-Chinese Takeaway, and Indonesian food at Indo Rasa. Both were nowhere as good as my favourite eateries. The motto of this experience is... An adventurous food spirit doesn't always result in finding the best food. ;P

    LOL, i agree, this is why I always go to the same eateries and order the same thing :)

    Sounds like you had a good time anyway even if you didn't find your headband. :(
    I had a fabulous week of shopping and thrilled with my finds. I just wish my bestie wasn't out of town so we could have shopped together. She is always up for going and going and going until the right items are found.

    Agree that trying new food doesn't always turn out the best results... but sometimes, you get some great surprises :)

    The cuff links are super cute! And haha, I don't ever want to look like how I did when I was 6. My style was "dubious" at best. And I know I was huge on tees. Like X-men tees that my mom bought from street vendors because if she didn't, I would cry. Ok, so maybe I DO dress like I did when I was 6. hmm.

    The food makes me hungry! I hope you could try Filipino cuisines too. You will love them for sure. I recommend "Adobo" and "Kare-Kare" :-)

    That is a really nice coat. I tend to always go to the same places to eat and tend to even order the same thing because when I don't I always end up disappointed!
