Makeup Three




 First Row: NARS Oasis . MAC x Venomous Villains Darkly My Dear (Limited Edition) . Givenchy Blooming Fuchsias (Limited Edition) 
Second Row: NARS Deep Throat . MAC Blushbaby . MAC Mocha Matte . Too Faced Papa Don't Peach

Blushers has been a huge part of my makeup routine right from the get go. It's just amazing to me how the right shade of blush could change a person's appearance so drastically. 

I used to have many blushers, but as one gets older and more granny-ish, the tendency would be to only keep the ones that I really love. 

Givenchy Blooming Fuchsias is my all-time favourite blush. The packaging is gorgeous, and the color is a warm, natural pink. I absolutely adore it! It was a limited edition product that sold out crazily fast. Luckily for me, my dear friend back home managed to find it, and sent it on to me in super fast time via her efficient secretary. ♥

The color that has stayed with me through the years has got to be MAC Mocha Matte. This sweet pink hue matches many skin tones, and never fails to be sold out at MAC counters on a really regular basis. I believe I have been using this same shade for more than 10 years!

My top four most used blushers on a daily basis would definitely have to be NARS Oasis, NARS Deep Throat, MAC Darkly My Dear and MAC Blushbaby. They are versatile, and when applied with a light hand, add a hint of color which is good for days when I really do not want to have to try to coordinate my makeup with my clothes. ;)

My least favourite has got to be Too Faced Papa Don't Peach, mainly because the orange undertones of this blush look really weird on my face. When I use it, I look like I have developed a bad case of rashes on my cheek bones! 

Hehe, and just so you know, I always buy a back-up of limited edition items that I like, so I would never have to worry about them running out. :)

    Our makeup is very similar. I love Nars blush, especially the cream ones for summer. My fave is Nars Laguna.

    Blushes are the most importante part of my make up, ok, not the only one, also the foundation.
    But blushes are magical, I love them because without that color I would look death every day lol.

    I love NARS too! *squeel*I heard a lot about them n decided to try it beginning of this yr and I haven't stop loving it!! Lucky for u, u can get them in Oz. I asked a good friend from America who stopped by to get it from Sephora for me..Maybe I'll try MAC next..hmm..

    Blushes really works like magic, instantly brightening your look with just a few light brushes. I wear the same pink hue on my cheeks for a long time now. I had tried different shades in the past, but when I finally found the right shade, I stuck with it. And to my dismay, the shade has been discontinued *sigh*... Glad I was able to find a different brand that is almost the same shade as the one that was discontinued.

    This Givenchy blush looks absolutely gorgeous !!
    To be honest I wear the same blush everyday (I'm a bit ashamed, being a fan on makeup!!) But I only have 2 and the other one is a perfect winter tone. I've always wanted to have some peachy orangy looking blush but haven't got one yet. But it doesn't really matter now summer's almost over =D I'll get one next year !

    At the moment I'm gona save up a bit to get myself good makeup brushes =) It's a good basic to have :p hehe.

    I have been using the same blusher for so long - just a bead one from Sportsgirl. I used to have one and didn't realise i looked orange faced when I used it haha....good thing I accidently dropped it and threw it out.

    Can never go wrong with Mac or Nars products. The best! People underestimate the transformation that blush makes and tend to ignore it (pointing at myself lol). Funny thing is, if someone applies it to me at a makeup store, I love it! Should get some. :)

    Both the NARS blushes look like really gorgeous colors. (Although I would be totally tempted to buy any makeup with Cruella deVil on the packaging.) I only own one blush and it's from my acting days. I need something light for those days when I'm a little under-the-weather and I never have anything. I'm off to Sephora!

    yes blush is TOTALLY essential!! and not matter what age, you SHOULD only keep the best :). Right now I use benefit/nars/mac. My skin is dark so they don't show up as much as I'd like. i'm still searching for the perfect one!! it would be great if you could follow me! thanks for your comment :)

    So agree with you - the right shade of blush totally can change a person's appearance! It makes all the difference, and personally, I even feel that just applying blush alone makes for a great make up if you absolutely have to choose just one item lol My favorite is Chanel Irreelle Blush Mystery No. 40, which they don't seem to be making any more.

    Blush is my absolute must-wear makeup item, even if I'm not wearing anything else. Honestly, some days it's the only thing standing in between me and that Corpse Bride look.

    Seeing the pretty, pretty packaging makes me want to go makeup shopping now. I'm so bad about using really old, cheap blush colors, though. Still pining for one I ran out of years ago!
