Allo, I am back from my little Manly Beach trip with my colleagues and my oh my were the views of the water so spectacular!
It was fabulous to meet the out-of-towners and to be introduced to so many new faces. I laughed a lot as I had some dear friends amongst the invitees and it was the most un-boring Management Conference I have ever attended to date.
We stayed at a Sydney Heritage Site, an old quarantine station which has since been refurbished into a hotel, and wow the ghostly presence of people who perished there was pretty overwhelming!
It didn't help that my room had framed photos of a long ghostly corridor and a big pile of bones...

Now, I am a typical scaredy-cat, so I was up half the night sniffling down the phone to Bunny, who wanted to come rescue me in his normal gallant way but I was determined to be a big girl just for one night.
I also managed not to leave anything behind for once but I did damage my Chanel earrings in the process so big boohoo... T.T
After getting home, I slept for 11 hours, but oddly am still feeling a bit out of sorts now.
Bunny even allowed me to skip our regular grocery shopping trip in favour of a drive to the city for a bit of clothes shopping yesterday. Gotta love that dear boy. ♥

I'm sorry to hear about your Chanel earrings, it really upsets me too whenever I break some of my beloved pieces. And lol, same as you, I am a big scaredy-cat as well! On my first night alone at a hotel in Hong Kong, I couldn't sleep well, I would often check if I had really locked and double bolted my room and was too scared of the unseen and the unknown haha.

Hello Addie, you have been missed! Your stay at the heritage hotel reminds me of my stay in Switzerland when I was younger in this hostel that used to be a prison!!! It was sooooo creepy, we slept in cells that looked like cells and showered in showers that had red lights! Argh!
