Note Three



 Bondi Beach, Sydney

Life has been really busy lately, and I have missed my blog so very very much. With 2011 drawing to a close, and growing yet another year older, I have had a lot on my mind. 

Work currently takes up a lot of energy, both physically and mentally, and I sometimes find myself struggling to smile. But once I drag my weary body home, and see Bunny and Lulu, I find some of the weight lift off, and the love and laughter I encounter at home recharges me for yet another day. 

Parties and events seem to accumulate in the last quarter of this year, and despite being rather socialable, the small talk seems to take so much from me. I guess I am really missing my quiet time. :|

Hehe, and I know I sound really gloomy, but I really am still the same Happy Addie, just a bit more bedragged and crumpled around the edges. I am looking forward to my silver lining - my company's upcoming Christmas shutdown. 10 days to do with as I'd like is a real luxury to me. :) 

Hope you are having a fantastic ending to the year, sweethearts. ♥ I can't wait to hear you tell me all about it.

    The end of the year is always a whirlwind of activity! Gosh, Bondi sure looks inviting. I spent a Christmas there a long time ago and thought it was pretty cool to have a beach picnic for Christmas instead of snow. =0)

    I wish your work wasn't so draining for you.
    Especially with the holidays too, it is hard on the body.

    Lucky you for getting a break! I wish I had the same time off but I'm always working. It's that time of the year where I wish I had a twin body so I can do everything I want.

    i know what you mean, there are times when all I want to do is stay locked in my room, sleep, and not talk to anybody. Life takes a toll on us every now and then but just know thins funk goes away, eventually. Hope you start smiling soon!

I can completely understand why you are feeling down! I have been there many many times in my life and especially from work! It seems that work sometimes has a way of killing our inspiration and our joy. I often don't think it's fair how often we are a slave to it, but I suppose that is life. In the meantime, we can daydream...and oftentimes our daydreams can be turned into a reality! So keep your chin up gorgeous lady because you never know what might be around the corner. In answer to your question, the closing of 2011 is a closing to what has been an extremely challenging and somewhat rough year for me. Although there have been many adventures, there have been many challenges too. Let's toast together to the new year and for high hopes of a bright 2012. Oh and btw I just adore your outfit in the post below. That skirt is beautiful on you!

    I can totally understand about work being that tiresome both physically and mentally. I've been in a tough phase with it myself and only the thought of upcoming holidays kept me going, it seemed.
