Fashion Two








I have to say that when I saw these photos of Louis Vuitton's newest artist commission, I was stunned speechless (something very hard to do because I am a regular Little Miss Chatterbox)! I am used to Hermes' imaginative shop window displays but Louis Vuitton is fast catching up.

The beauty that is Louis Vuitton's products made into fabulous animal sculptures?! Wow!! Billie Achilleos is my kind of artistic genius, with her ability to turn inanimate items into almost living beasts. 

These stunning art pieces were made to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Louis Vuitton Small Leather Goods Savoir Faire Collection. And they remind me so of Louis Vuitton's 2002 Conte De Fees Collection, one of my very favourites! I almost forgotten I have something from that collection and now I have to go deep into my bag-robe to get it out for an outfit post. :)

I hope you enjoy the photos, I absolutely adore that bug-eyed chameleon and the owl-like critter. ♥♥

    It must have been fun to put these together! Do you think the artist visited the workshop/factory and looked around what parts he wanted to use? I can imagine him sketching and picking up leather pieces in a middle of a busy workshop. :)

    alternatively u can watch it via youtube, it's available to watch there, english subbed. just search within youtube "Korean Lie to Me Ep1..." & u shld be able to find it!

    omg u got the soundtrack?! i've only got the opening song (i love it too!) and the "I Believe" song. i listened to it so many times that i can actually sing "I Believe" by heart, not knowing what the lyrics meant back then. haha~ Over Time is such a classic; i'm glad to know u love it too!!

    Those are such interesting displays! I love how artists can use nearly any medium to create lovely sculptures and paintings. Anything animal-themed, of course, captures my eye too! :)
