I first wore this dress to the dinner of a work event I was overseeing. Needless to say I was made to feel very conscious of the placement of the hearts on this dress. 

I am not sure when the way I perceived items started differing greatly from societal norms, but this dress brought it to the forefront for me. 

I still love this dress very much though and refuse to see it in any other kind of light but my own. I find it girly and happy, and the hearts exuberant and like little shouts of joy. :)

This is actually my first attempt at painting my nails, and when I whatsapp-ed the photos to a couple of good friends, one actually burst out laughing and told me that it's obvious that when I was a child, I never managed to color within the lines haha. What an apt analogy!   

I bought a half size too small for my Louboutins, but I still wear them as much as I can with a permanent strained expression that I reckon isn't too fetching. Well, as Carrie said, 'These shoes pinch my feet, but I love them". Truer words have never been said. ♥ 

As it was a glorious Saturday, I decided to bring my twin Hedgehogs out for a spot of sunlight. They had so much fun peeking out of my hair whenever the wind blew...
