I am the biggest fan of brooches. I have so many in my jewellery drawers, it always amazes my friends (and sometimes even myself). My favourites are the ones made of colourful plastic or vintage bakelite; I simply love their glossy exterior and hard, slightly unrefined texture.

This Gingerbread Man is a cutie, I wanted to buy his girlfriend too but the detailing on her wasn't very persuasive. 

I wish I could wear my brooches out more often, but a lot of my clothes have crazy prints so whenever I wear something plain like this ASOS dress, I immediately whip out a brooch to match. ♥ 

My pet peeve though is that when you wear brooches, they often create holes in the clothing. No matter how miniscule, I just KNOW the hole is there and it drives me crazy to no end. That's why I bought myself some magnetic pins that secure the brooch in place without having to pin it through the fabric. Total yay-ness!! 

Hehe and I think after four (oops now five) paragraphs, you kinda get a small inkling of my brooch obsession... 

Anyhoo I had a lovely day out with my Bunny. We ate at our one of our favourite Japanese restaurants, did our weekly grocery shopping and most importantly, spent the day laughing and enjoying the company of each other. :)
